I think this program deserves a thread.

Works great for AMD's VSR and Nvidia's DSR/DLDSR.

I permanently set the desktop resolution to 4k and then set my games to windowed mode and change the games resolution anywhere from 1440p to 3200x1800 depending on what performance I get and then enable the upscaling.

I use a 1080p monitor and AMD VSR.

One game I unfortunately can't get it to work properly in is BF2042. The game doesn't allow different resolutions when set to windowed mode and while in windowed mode the resolution is so small. I'm talking maybe less than 720p small.

I use it for older games that don't have upscalers built-in like Fallout 4. Using a 4K monitor select windowed 2560x1440 resolution in Fallout, pick Nvidia Image Scaling and adjust sharpening in Lossless Scaling. This reduces power requirements by 2/3rds for me with everything on Ultra :) (except decals) :(

I also like to use it for games that can have issues with borderless window mode (or don't have it at all). I mean it's kinda overkill for that, but I find that it does a better job than some other apps.

LOL he forgot to enable VRR support in Lossless Scaling, it turn off Gsync & cap it to 120Hz Vsync.

For the stuttering you mean? I doubt it. It's an engine problem I would guess.
I think the game plays ok enough if you 60 fps cap it.

If I remember right... the VRR option, didn't work on nVidia anyway. The latest version also moved it to "legacy" and description reads "This option no longer activates VRR and is deprecated".

Also the latest edition can now do 3x FrameGen. Doesn't look very awesome imho, but again... could be handy in the right scenario.

Seen that. Only scenario where i think this could be useful is when the game has a framerate cap like Elden Ring he tested.

And there are plenty of games like that both old and new. Skyrim comes to mind as a notable older title that has physics issues above 60fps.

I think that Skyrim (and other games on the Creation engine) has mods that help with these issues now, but don't quote me on that. I haven't played it in years.
