If this monitor is gonna be used mainly for gaming I would get a Monitor with a resolution of 1920x1200, NOT 1920x1080 unless you are gonna be watching alot of High Def content or Blu-Ray's

I just got one and it's not as good as my old Samsung SyncMaster 959NF 19" monitor in terms of color reproduction. It's sharper, lighter, bigger (in terms of screen space), cooler and consumes less electricity, but it's not as good as a good olf-fashioned CRT in terms of colors. IMO, at least. Oh, and I'm using a DVI cable so it's not got anything to do with VGA either.

I noticed one of your choices has 250 vs 300 for the brightness... starting to look at monitors as well since my crt is dying... anything I've looked at with 250 has appeared too dim for my taste - just something to think about.
