I've been looking around at computer cases for a while now, and I saw a case that seated the motherboard upside-down and it got me very interested. Can anyone suggest a few of those kind that are under $150? Thanks.

its not only btx, there are also inverted atx cases.
the lian li v series and silvrestone tj06 are examples of this.

Would a BTX case seat my motherboard?

a true btx case probably woudnt, but those are as scarce as swiss naval victories.
so pretty much every case you will be able to find will seat your motherboard.

Having the mobo upside-down like that won't make much of a difference, maybe 1 to 2 degrees at most. But I suppose it is more logical than standard ATX setups.

While we're on the topic of upside-down stuff what the hell with video cards? They look upside down, that way the fan tries sucking in air from a more blocked area (the PCI cards) rather than an open space. Not only that but with the fan downwards instead of upwards it blocks the PCI slot below it! Can't card manufacturers just make it face the other way for some logical sense?! Damn you nVidia/ATi/AMD/Sapphire/Gigabyte/BFG/XFX/eVGA/Asus/Diamond/GeCube/Club3D/Leadtek/MSI/PNY/OCZ/Foxconn/Powercolor/all the others!

because there actually isnt that much space on the other end of the card.
nowadays, you often get a pcie slot above the graphics card slot, but not that long ago, the graphics slot was the top most slot, and directly above it was the chipset cooler and ram slots, which would block the space for coolers.

btw, in a traditional atx case, the card actually gets more cool air that way, as the intake fans are on the bottom of the case.
