For the first time I have decided to invest in an ultra wide screen monitor.

It is to use primarily for gaming and movies. I thought it would be nice to change from the regular 16:9 aspect ratio to 21:9.

As you can see from my specs, I have the high end GTX 1080TI meaning I require a 2k/4k panel. No use in buying full HD 1080P to run on a 1080TI.

I have looked at several models and would like some advice with regards to them. Which one is the best otherwise what else can you recommend being similar in price yet perhaps superior with regards to image quality, colour, etc.

I am looking for the following:

    Size: Around 35''
    Resolution: 3440 x 1440
    Panel: IPS Only
    Response time : Max 4 or 5ms
Refresh Rate: 75hz or more (100hz preferred) G-Sync/Free sync, either one is fine
    Speakers: No needed, not important

Last and most important factor is image quality/punchy colour. I need something with excellent contrast, high colour accuracy and deep blacks. A monitor with excellent colour calibration is always a bonus.

My budget is around £700 so I should have a good choice.

Here are some panels I have come across. What do you think?

These are still the top monitors for gaming.
Here in Europe they dropped a bit in price, no idea how it is over in $ land.
