Is it possible to change LOD bias on AMD cards like you can on Nvidia cards with nvidia profile inspector? I have an RX 580 8GB. I tried "Lodadj" in RadeonMod but it doesn't seem to do anything. I want to change it in order to get more clarity in certain games.

    Thanks.

Perhaps OpenGL and <=D3D9 via registry. Other APIs no dice, unless you use libstrangle on Linux with API wrappers.

It is mainly a DX11 game (Guild Wars 2) I want it for. I've been considering switching (back) to Linux, are you saying this is possible to do when running games via Wine and DXVK on Linux?

You know, you made me curious so I gave it a run through. I tried Quake 1(Original and the recent remaster), Quake 2 RTX, GTA:SA, CS:GO and Apex: Legends. It didn't appear to do anything. So looks like it's BS or whatever it's modifying doesn't work anymore :(

It looks like it hasn't been update for years like RadeonPro & RadeonMod. Kinda one and done program. Thanks for verifying it though.;)

Note that externally forced negative LOD bias often causes issues with physically based shading (more recent games). It looks to me like some material reflectiveness is influenced by the bias, making things appear more glossy than they should. Interestingly, this behavior disappears in CyberPunk when enabling raytracing reflections.
In Unreal Engine 4/5 with unlocked config, you can enforce it via r.MipMapLODBias=x , which should work better.
