Don't know if anyone has listed this but I'm going to say Mageslayer (I think it was named differently in the USA but can't remember the name)

One of the best top-down view games I have ever played (albeit the demo lol )

A lot of games that have just remained in my mind and I keep remembering them now and again, which is a good thing

Did anyone list Pandemonium & Pandemonium 2? Amazing games and fun too

Deadlock: Planetary Conquest is a brilliant turn-based strategy from 1996 but I don't think you'd be able to get that anywhere which is a shame :wanker:

If you want to get some DOS games check on Steam first, as Steam has a built in DOS emulator which even works in Vista. Theres things like wolfenstein 3d, all the dooms, all the quakes, all the hexens, e.t.c

 

I forgot Speedball II.

Obviously games like pac-man space invaders, Defender etc.

Thanks a lot for mentioning this one, mcharj11! I remember playing Heavy Gear II when it came out and later forgot what the title of the game was. For quite some time now, every now and then, I was trying to figure out how it was called.

DOS games that don't run on XP or Vista anymore can be played with DOSbox, just a side note.

 

YEEE, i got Pandemonium 1 , P 2 i lost it top game.

 

A very emblematic game for me was Hell Cab. I was young and did not know a thing about conputers when my friend got it. We couldn't read english very well so we couldn't get past the Empire State building. Other games that did it for me at the time where Duke 3D, Jazz Jackrabbit, GTA 1 and London, Midtown Madness, Need for Soeed 1 and 2 SE, Alone in the Dark up to 3 and many others that I just don't remember right now.

 

Yeah it was good, kinda like mechwarrior but much faster paced.

 

yea i did, was huge fan of pandemonium played it for hours on end when i was little. I didn't really dig the second one though :/

Yep, I've played Gex, WAHEY that game owned (PlayStation I think if I remember correctly, might've played it on PC as well)
