I'm currently being forced to use a Cisco DPC2420 modem-router that is, at best, just $hitty. To make things worse, my ISP remotely blocks half of the configuration pages so I can't make it work as modem alone to use my own Linksys router. I'm forced to use this crap.
I'm still loving my Linksys WRT54GL. I supposed it's a little outdated now, but DD-WRT is just so great! Whatever router I get next, being able to use dd-wrt is a must.
Only half? The Great Firewall of China has the entire Cloud interface blocked! uke2: All we know it may be blocked here too ... to protect this country's cultural values.
