    There is hope!

I think this is great. I have been a user of the Chaos Calmer firmware for some time, but it is at times unstable. Ocassionally it will freeze up and stop broadcasting the 5Ghz SSID. I am hoping that DD-WRT or the OpenWRT team eventually add a standalone AP mode and EAP support. I only use my 1900AC as an AP due to it's ability to hit 1.3Gbps for the price. Would be great if someone could port some enterprise WPA2-EAP for it maybe even a controller for multiple AP's in a house? I almost went with Ubiquiti for my home setup, but I wanted 1.3Gbps vs 866Mbps. At least this gives me hope!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
