This is weird I just checked Bioshock 2 on my PC screen and the lines are gone but they still exist on my HDTV.

Got this only in DNF as well. I thought it is some kind of game style?

But I had it in Bioshock 2 and some of the textures in Bioshock 2 were flickering.

its nothing to do with duke playing it....

its to do with the AA method used.. DNF has 2 settings FSAA and FXAA... bioshock 2 also uses FXAA aswell..

They are the scanlines of the TV, dude. It's a game within a game. It's a joke. Get it??

What leaker said, just run thru that level and kill the final guy. You will find out that Duke is playing DNF himself and those lines are from the TV Screen. ;)

Btw, the Demo sucked. Poor Gameplay and Graphics far from whats a standard now days. I doubt it will be a big hit. The Outdoor and Indoor places felt like they forgot to fill up the place with objects.

It's too old school to be good nowdays.

As everyone else said it's supposed to be there as an effect. It's a post processing effect.

Yep to be exact its a shader effect (you can turn those of like the shower water shader or the blood shaders in the video options menu) :) hey it's not that bad @ all especially the engine is very well optimized nice and smooth (Unreal Engine is really still the king when it's about Performance) the demo feels very good work yeah the levels aren't the best chosen ones but they don't want to spoil to much in the demo (and duke style that's the most important i was captured immediately by oldshool feelings) :)
Make a Game yourselves before saying anything about one which has cost millions of dollars in production over 12 years, you youngstars ;)

Though such big Monster Models aren't anything that excite anymore since Silent Sam and later on Gears of War unfortunately, But the Gameplay was fun Animations very smooth didn't experienced 1 bug in the Demo Ai was reasonable so far so good let the full version come and get some ;)
