Ooooo some interesting settings in there. But Game seems to reset it, or ignore it, if you change anything from there though
I should look into it I would love to disable DOF crap, it would seem there is no such ingame setting I do like the game auto defaults to "windows" res of monitor, my monitor is 1080p and I cant enable DSR in the game less I change desktop to 1440p, but IF I switch to TV which set to 1440p, the game uses that. Not sure if this normal behavior or not with windows or it game thing.
The Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker works with the game. And from there the r.ScreenPercentage command works. Which you can dial upto 200.
Intresting, not fan of injectors for games, usual only use them when game has some piss poor gpu usage (NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139...) is unplayable without special K due to how baddy the gpu is used. could not even get stable 60 fps at 1080p never mind 1440p, threw special k it magically had perfectly stable 60fps @ 1440p and barely 70% gpu usage. But this good to know for UE4 games that for some reason wont work with DSR less DSR is set on the desktop, will come in handy but I honestly dont have many Games that even use UE3 let alone UE4. it one reason why Stutter struggle that is know with UE4 isnt something i really have to deal with
Normally I would just modify the engine.ini. But ini editing doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere for this one. Also I have lots of UE4 games, so the tool is handy for playing around with settings
I think the only game I have that actual will render 1440p without the use DSR is Nioh, everything else it has be forced with DSR in Fullscreen mode and not all games seem to support that some require the desktop to have DSR just to function. or exposed in case of UE4? IF there setting for it in INI for setting should be in the game, if there setting in game engine like Supersampling res down to native it should be there too I hear UE4 has streaming cache setting that can help with stutters loading of textures, but almost never exposed The last of us part 1 is only example of it actual being setting in game i know of, but i can also see why such things are hidden it could feasible cause problems. As for Lies of P, I really like Bloodborne only with puppets. also everything about the game remind of why I LIKE Bloodborne, but has none the performance issue Bloodborne has , that has kept me from ever finishing it, bad pacing bloodborne has is enough to make my eye scream "stop" playing this
Reminds me more of steelrising then bloodborne really. I really do not like the art design in this game. Also the combat feels clumpsy. GFX are also kinda low-res not my type of game. Then again i enjoyed steel rising allot.
never played steel rising, did play bloodborne and is obvious alot inspirations for the game came from bloodborne and lineage that spawned bloodborne
I notice the silence of certain people who claim that AMD prevents DLSS from being included in a game. Yet here were are, yet another AMD sponsored game with both FSR and DLSS. Anyway back to DLSS only Diablo IV.... oh wait, pure silence on that one too hmm?
Well people asked AMD not to be a dick and include dlss in their sponsored games. Glad they listened.
So many games with only DLSS, but it's only bad when AMD does it. We even got games patched to block FSR2 mods.
Its probably best to include DLSS in games these days. No reason to limit options and loose some sales.
The thing probably is that Nvidia paying for it, and AMD are not. hence why there is less FSR in games.
Looks to me like they didn't manage to get the rights for "lies of Pinocchio" and still decided to stick with "lies of P", odd name really, but as long as the game is there, i'm all for it!
Little differences, Steam is 1.3 build PS5 is 1.0 build, performance wise both run really well I get 60FPS on PC at 1440p with (FSR) I get pretty stable 60fps on PS5 I assuming it around 1440 cant really tell much diffrence, When you transport from 1 stargazer to another and screen goes to black and white, it freeze little longer on ps5 then does on PC side, Load time virtual identical imo on ps5 6000mb/s drive and my systems 500mb/s drive. I enjoyed it on both platforms. Prefer it on on PC simply cause i have 8bitdo with backpaddles so i dont have to deal with R3/L3 buttons being attached to analogs. Will most likely pick the game up at some point. remind me so much of bloodborne, right down to shitty dodge and right down man in wheel chair, (well woman in wheel chair here) and puppet/doll that levels you up and all the reference which could go right back to Demons Souls and Dark Souls games
