Several weeks ago I wrote on some RGB mat news about RGB cables as next stage. Bloody hell, apparently they have designers fishing for ideas on this forum....

Come on, for rainbow unicorn magic style is still a very intresting product and I would love to build a full RGB PC with these. I wonder how much is this power connector cable...

Can't wait to have Hilbert do a rig of the month that has... nothing. Not even a window in the case.
My personal esthetics are clearly against what the manufacturers think we want.

 

Mine is quite dark, and I love that. RGB is distracting and useless.

 

The only thing I see through my window is my mainboard's Qled to see the mainboard's state. Which oddly shows the unknown "40" code.

 

So all we need now is a rgb mains cable and everybody will be happy with their computer!

Is there anything NOT rgb at this point? Honestly, CPU got their rgb coolers / pumps, RAM got rgb, mainboards got rgb, coolers for GPUs got rgb, SSDs come with rgb? NVME ones maybe? Cases of course are rgb with their front and interior lighting, as well as the fans, the cables for power now too... anything I forgot? rgb dust filter? There's no rgb on optical drives or sata SSDs is there?

 

The next phase is a full RGB chassis. Electroluminiscent panels sandwiched between frosted acrylic sheets, on all 6 sides on both faces, and boom. Mark my words.

I hate the rainbow look, it looks stupid and childish, like your little girl asked for a pony themed case. Why the craze? Does the majority of RGB buyers use them like a rainbow? Or just chose a theme in 1-2 colors?
