That is actually great, as the older ones focused on DX8 and 9 and give a very good impression how well (or often how bad!) your shiny new DX11 cards will perform with older titles.
Ok but... bad news: multi-thread/-core CPU can't use more than 2 threads/cores on graphics tests - it's abnormal, if the videocard is too fast (eg: GF 8800 GTX, GF GTX 280...). Because the Futuremark is bad.
I remember downloading 3DMark03 for the first time and was blown away by the Pixel Shader 2.0 demo. Made my poor FX5600 weep but was amazing for its time!
