    everything defeats 6500xt
    rx580 defeats 6500xt
    that's not really news.

it's about 1660ti,sligthly slower so more like 1660S or 1070.

Nvidia did have a lowest acceptable standard when making a new gaming card. AMD did not. Fortunately for AMD, buyers don't have one, either.

It's a card for gamers... Not high end but adequate to play games well without being of interest to miners I like it

On other hand it was quite easy, even medium range from 3 gen ago does...
Also it doesn't make the 3050 good for that, i wait your review to have an idea :)

I, and I'm pretty certain everyone here and in the various forums, have had this figured out already. It now boils down to price and availability.....forget the fake news that is MSRP.

    1660S is 30% faster
and 6500xt starts at 350eur (in Germany, cause in PL there are no 6500xt's)
so +455eur and they'll be the same at 4.0,if 3050 doesn't turn out to be faster than 1660S

tbh comparing it at 4.0 is kinda pointless.
out of all people that have it,who is really into buying a 6500xt

academically speaking cost per frame 6500XT PCIE 4.0 at market prices is a king right now , which is kind funny considering how bad it is :D

What has better $/frame right now ? We are only counting :

    1. New cards.
    2. PCIE 4.0
    3. 1080p

    6600
    1.71x the performance
    1.51x the price

even 3060ti at 800eur has the same perf/dollar at 1080p,and it's severly bottlenecked at this resolution

YEa the problem is 6500XT performance, it's just below its target market. It should be at least 20-30% faster than it is to make it appealing. That would require 128bit bus or 8 pcie lanes and more cores .

    .
They should not be sold over 125 bucks these pile of crap, considering performance and what was the prices 3 years ago of the cards they are replacing.
