I'll also add, I don't text, tweet, IM, PM, Facebook or MySpace, I avoid phone calls. I don't need your validation. If you wanna talk to me, do it in person. Unless you are too far away, but that's what message boards are for. I am not socially inept, so all that social networking sh!t is irrelevant to me. I have many many friends, all of which I can see in person. Maybe too many friends, really. This all greatly simplifies my life.
Simple life is one where you arent in debt, and I am there. I owe no one anything. I always pay my bills on time, share an apartment thats hella cheap and large, have a car & insurance, full time job with optional overtime, and money saved. Life is all good. I just need to meet more females with the same lifestyle! I wish my mom could have the simple life. Although I moved out when I was 18, she still seems to be stressing overseas over money . My dad seems to have the very simple life. He has his own fishing boat down Louisana, remarried with kids, and really only works half the year. In the off season, makes specific nets for other fishermen and sells them. I remember going to the dock and seeing people pay my dad with stacks of $100 bills! The best part about being a fishman for a living is eating what you catch, so your meals are free, or really cheap. If you are good friends with others, you can trade other types of fish/shrimp/crab and all is good.
I grew up with my Father telling me that " It's all about whats in your back pocket at the end of the week " when I was 18 I realised that it's not ...It's all about being happy with life. I enjoy MY hobbies with my kids around andget to see them all the time. What else would anybody need.
Im guessing most of you havnt lived long enough to fully experience life and your probably in your teens, most of you anyway, I had a crap childhood, crap early teens,at the age of 19 i began a wonderful journey with a married woman,a 8 1/2 year affair, eventually i wanted stability in my life,i made a choice between someone who had been my lover and best friend and someone i had just met and who could give me the normal life without the complications of an affair, boy did i make the wrong choice,in the last few yrs ive taken out a mortgage ,got married, had a holiday/late honeymoon to turkey, got cats and dogs and got separated, My wife and i have been separated over 2 yrs now,i lve on my own in our mortgaged house, for the many reasons married life didnt work out im now regreting making the wrong choice 13 yrs ago,Im 40 yrs old now i have 4 cats 1 dog and my pc and thats as good as its going to get ,despite getting lonely i had my 1 true shot at real hapiness and like i said i chose the wrong person,i now have a reasonably simple life ,i get up,go to work ,i finish work,i get home feed cats and dogs,go on my pc ,get my dinner,go to bed ,i get up again ,feed the animals,i go to work,i finish work,i get home feed cats and dogs,go on my pc ,get my dinner,go to bed ,and thats my simple life, same thing day in day out, boring as */#k,but i look on the bright side, ive been there ,done that and worn the t shirt and now life couldnt get any worse,my pc and my cats and dog are my life for the time being, and here she is View attachment 4567 View attachment 4566 this si what my first H2o system looked like until 4 sept 2010 View attachment 4568
Nah man I'll be 31 soon & being single doesn't mean you have to stay home 24/7 & there are plenty of single women our ages(and younger), just don't marry them.
^ ^ Me too. Is this a blog site or a techy help me with my 6800GT because I overclocked it till flames came out site? (true story) oh anyway... yes, me too. I've been single for 10 years and continually trying to find my balance while reducing the stress in my life. That's why I keep moving from noisy neighbours who wake me up mid-afternoon on saturday because they can't close their front door quietly. I work in an office but prefer to shift the royal mail parcel sacks full of paperwork I have to deal with rather than fall asleep pressing buttons in an Excel worksheet all day. No girlfriend, no real education above secondary (high) school although everyone in my account office asks me why I'm not working for the I.T. department. Karma too. That works for me. What you give you get back. Be nice and people will treat you the same way. I too have friends, one a real close old pal who used to question my nomadic lifestyle. She was always trying to get me into the dating scene. Even got me a discount with a dating agency. What a waste of time and money. That's if you're not willing to give it 100%. First (and only) response was a divorced women with 5 kids, one of them autistic. Hello! I want a simple life. I understand your predicament but find someone who wants to be a dad. I just want to snuggle in front of the fire so I'll pass, thanks. Yes, I totally understand what you are saying ShadowMyth. Not everyone wants 2.5 children, a mortgage, 2 cars and a stressful job to pay for it all. have a nice day
not where i live ,they`re either dog ruff or too young, working the hours i do makes makes it near imposible to meet anyone ,but in hoping to change careers in the next year or so,looking to do traing in plumbing/gas engineer but its going to take time
Laughter is created when ones "rational" (read as subjective) mind is stretched to it's limits of reasoning and understanding. It's all relative to what one defines as "life".
imo karma is a myth things happen because you can't control what happens in life what ever happens happens and there's no control over it. and this world isn't a nice or good place to begin with imo. For me I just want to work and make money and the job I have now gives me just that i'll have enough time to have fun and try to enjoy life when I retire.
agree on this..except on the marriage part coz my wife makes me happy lol When I was younger I always wanted a fast paced/big city lifestyle..Now that Im older (lol 30 to be exact) and am living a fast paced life in a cosmopolitan environment I sometimes feel i want to give it all up and just quit and go back to my hometown.. I guess that's my short term goal for now..just make enough money (for financial buffer for a couple of years and to startup a small business to sustain my family financially) then quit, see the world perhaps then settle down to a simple life
hate to agree but its true I was happier back when I was broke but had all the time in the world. :wanker:
One does not have to believe in the Law Of Conservation Of Energy to see that all things equal themselves within the Universe, be it any action, temperature, score or process. It's unavoidable. It is based upon reason, logic, and has no arguments against it. It is unaffected by any means. That is the root basis of Karma.
If any action equals itself, explain a Universe of matter and not equal parts matter and anti-matter. If such a Universe can exist, then it can also exist with more good than evil, and vice-versa
@nvlddmkm dunno bud I still don't really buy this whole karma idea it just childish to me.I also view this world as harsh, mean, and unforgiving and crap happens out of the blue.
No. An unequal universe closes upon itself and thusly does not exist. The proof of such is your own consciousness to pose questions upon the universe, which conversely contains you within it to pose questions.
