Hey guys need opinions and facts here. Right now I have an 18 LCD monitor with analog input. I have been thinking about upgrading to a 19" LCD monitor with DVI input. Would I notice a difference in response/frame per second and in picture quality? I intend to use it for gaming. Thank you.

I can't give you links ... but I have done some extensive reading on this and my own research has shown ... you will not notice any FPS increase and it will not reduce GHOSTING ... it's real advantage is for over 19" still image viewing for Photographers and alike ... to be honest its a bit like PCI-E at the moment it offers no real advantage for present games or video, but future proofs for what is ahead ... hope this helps :)

from what i've read there is no difference between vga and dvi. i've also tried both vga and dvi on my lcd monitor(samsung 172x) and there was no difference in iq.
