http://lawbreakers.nexon.net/ Free2Play Arena FPS created by Cliff Bleszinski's Boss Key Studios. Couldn't find a thread yet and since the first gameplay trailer is out and people being able to play it at PAX I guess we can talk about it. Gameplay Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJ4S5G4nsUI Seems like class based arena shooters are becoming the new MOBA's (see Overwatch, Battleborn). And with it being class/character based I guess we can already tell what the microtransactions are going to be like.
It looks like Unreal Tournament with character classes. Does not look that... interesting really. Specially with a real UT coming out, and then there's also Overwatch...
I've seen about a half dozen other class arena games that are out or coming out and they all look the same with there slightly-cartoony stylized art direction. Seems all these developers have hired the same consultant.

Looks more interesting than what ive seen and played of UT4. Ut4 is pretty much going the same route as ut3, but on a new engine. This comes across as though Cliffy wanted to work on a new ut, but didn't like the idea that ut was going include so much input from the childish and hypocritical gaming community, so he buggered off and made this, this where he can make an alteration to a game variable without having to answer a bunch of whinging forum posts as to why the community wasn't consulted first.
Cliff being involved in this is pretty much enough to make me never want to touch it. Not just because of his years of claiming PC gamers were pirates. Back when Gears of War were paying all the bills at Epic, and him making statements about how Gears 2 wouldn't come to PC because it was a platform for pirates. Then, Gears 2 leaked out early and was pirated anyways. Now he's all trying to make amends and claim 'I've always loved PC gamers!' But, my main and biggest reason for hating Cliff Bleszinski... he's a complete douche. Honestly a huge jerk. Screw Attack have tried multiple times to talk to him at events like Pax and E3, and he's flat out told them "Get lost." and "This is a waste of my time." And, at the DNF release party Gearbox held in Texas, he was there. People tried to get pictures with him and autographs, multiple times he would be standing with someone for a picture... see a hot chick, or someone from the industry and he'd just walk off before the picture was even taken. Unless his attitude has been humbled since leaving Epic, I have no desire to support him.
Sounds more like he wanted to make direct profits off the work he does, instead of just collecting a salary and lining someone else's pockets.
