Last Catalyst tuning for weak CPU

I have an old E6750 but it is OCed - 3.41Mhz at this moment.
Of course I understand it is bad for my new 6950 2Gb.
How should I tune parametrs in CCC & in game to unload CPU?

One tip, buy a upgrade pack with i5 2500k // asrock/asus mobo p67 and corsair 1600mhz mem 4gb and your done.

For now, dont try with that cpu its a true bottleneck

 

The only way for load on the gpu is to push the resolution and graphism ..

But the problem is not this: the processor will surely get a lot of problem to process the data, and the gpu will wait for them.

Now... you loose some fps, but if it's still playable .. its good.

 

I am afraid that a 6950 in that pc, waste of money .. Sorry dear u need to upgrade or ur cpu will hold u back ..

 

i hope my phenom II x4 965BE @ 3,7mhz is not a big limit for my ati 6970.

 

Yes, I know I need new CPU etc. This card I bought by chance I had 6850 which was bought year ago... Few days ago I returned it under warranty and shop returned full amount to me so + 25EUR and I have this ASUS 6950 Direct Cu II 2 Gb
I have avg 45-50 FPS in BF3 on small maps = playable; avg 35 fps on big...

Ok, now I think I should wait for Ivy announce and then compare it with FX...

 

Well, someone said that FX is great in BF3. Great means, that it is not far behind 2500/2600k as usual. So you should wait Bulldozer 2 vs IvyBridge.
