I am constantly hooking up and disconnecting my laptop to my monitor, KB/mouse, and sound system, and am getting very annoyed with all the cables getting tangled and the general PITA it is to do this. I am thinking about getting a USB docking station but from what I can tell they have their own video drivers which probably means I won't be able to game through the device. Is this correct?
True docks are built to be drop on and work instantly. The laptop will have a long rectangular proprietary slot on the base that interfaces with the dock to provide all USB, Sound, and video throughput.
