Really? lol I don`t need to see my own characters animations. Imo 3rd person = pacman. and for me at least amounts to a pretty boring experience. So 1st person is good for me. But I`d vote for there being a usable 3rd person view for those who need to see their own animations. ;p

 

Havent had access to my computer for 2 weeks, so this weekend finally I can test it out :banana:

Pretty impressive. You can tell it's very Crysis like image wise. How do I get hold of the Alpha?

I play on max. high and have min. 30fps. But well, its not optimized ofc, its alpha v.0.01.

 

Well i saw those requirements and i'm surprised they are so low, for very high. I'm not complaining or anything. And yea i know its in alpha, in final version they'll maybe add more eye candy, but it will be even more optimised then. Really good job they are doing.

 

980GTX is really fast in this game

Seems to be a nice game,like the time and place and no fanatsy,in a certain way,it is quite different than other RPGs.

 

A 3.9 GB update is out, should be the E3 demo content.

EDIT: Also bumps the engine version from 3.6.x to 3.7

 

What i love about it (so far) is the first person combat. Can't wait to see how that will work out in a bigger scene with several enemies.

 

Thinking about pledging for this and getting involved. Is it worth it ATM?

 

The current public build has been expanded quite a bit from earlier builds but it's still a very early release and as such pretty rough so if you want something more playable it might be best to wait a while longer.

Game looks like it could be really good so I would definitively recommend it but you should wait until it's finished before buying it unless you really want to try these early builds and report bugs and give suggestions to the developers on their forums.
(Should be cheaper as well to buy the full release of the game instead of having to pledge extra for early access.)

 

Thanks man! Might just hold off for a while - I've got a back log of about 10 games I have bought but haven't played yet. I do like to support though! I'll keep on checking the progress and maybe pledge in a couple of months or when it gets to beta.

 

Yeah, it's looking pretty amazing, but I'm holding off until it's at the Beta or later stage. Right now it appears to be just a pretty demo without much to do other then admire the (gorgeous) scenery.

 

So I just discovered that this game exists. That looks really intriguing. I like an Elder Scrolls style 1st person view so this is right up my alley. It would also be refreshing to play in that era/setting without a break from realism. I.E. no magic/myth/supernatural/etc. Just a harsh world and your sword. Maybe some arrows and some mead.
