Kepler will be Unbeatable: NVIDIA

    Have I heard right that the 680 doesn't like cold like less than -40?
    I'm not talking about kingpin zombies here, just a stock card...

    he was a previously banned member that got it for trolling and was mostly likely going to get it here for the same anyways. such a staunch amd supporter with nvidia gpu`s in his rig. practice what you preach as it were:nerd:

    Thats what they say around -40 but its different tin said.

    Well Nvidia was right, the architecture really is unbeatable considering this isn't even the top end part. It's a shame they nerfed DirectCompute performance though although I suppose it makes sense from a business perspective. Then again, if you were considering using a desktop GPU for workstation work in the first place, there's a decent chance you'll know that AMD does not practically disable these features on their desktop cards and then go with one of those.

    Well there aren't many of them in GK104 but the new FP64 unit for Kepler is apparently powerful enough.

    a mid range card is always weak in the knees in something. this time its DC.
