Well seeing as this thread has been necro-morphed...lol

let me just ask a question. I've read that KBT doesn't work with GK110/GK104, but yet i have used it to lift my TDP,adjusted base core-clock & boost clock and also adjusted my fan speed mins & max's. I know that the voltage cannot be altered in KBT but what else isn't working ? As i said it appears to be working great for me on my 780ti (Ref)

Voltage adjustments has worked for GK104 using KBT. It was Gk110 that has no voltage adjustment, but tdp and power target can now be adjusted.

Is PT really working on the new one or is it just placebo like before?

Might give it a try on my 780. Although I'm likening the Skyn3t BIOS ATM.

If It hasn't been updated, it's placebo. I have verified this with 2 different systems.

1.25 is available now, thought this was a dead project.

1.26 is the newest version. I thought it was dead too until I came across it when I was searching for a GK110 bios editor. Which lead me back to this thread. Should of looked here to begin with. :D

I've just tried increasing the voltage settings to see if I can push my 680 Twin Frozr OC any further as I cant afford an upgrade at the moment but unfortunately any adjustment to the voltages just makes my card unstable :( so looks like I'm ****-out-of-luck.

Most I can get out of mine using Afterburner is +75/+500 GPU/MEM - Obviously would like more but I think I've reached it's peak really - Though I might check and reapply some decent thermal paste if I get bored to see if that helps anything - doubt it though...

It works for TDP and Power Target adjustment only.

    Also, some other stuff below.

This next bit pertains to both 780 Classified and 780 TI Classified users only. Honestly, it should work for anyone that has a GPU with the CHIL8318 controller. You will need to use MSI Afterburner Beta 18 in order for this to work.

    DO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Even though beta 18 of Afterburner unlocks the voltage slider to +100, your still locked to 1.21v. In order to get the full 1.3v, you'll need to edit a .cfg file in the MSI Afterburner/Profiles folder. You have to rename the .cfg to .txt to edit it. First make sure Afterburner is shut down. Then start your editing. The rest is self explanatory.

    Here's the screen shot.

Don't worry about adding any other info than what I have marked.. All of that stuff will automatically get added the next time you restart Afterburner. Once that is done, just save it and change the .txt back to .cfg and that's it.

Also, here's proof that it is indeed working.

So Phaze you getting ready to blow some $hit up?

Tommy when you getting your 780 classy's?

Gonna try this out over the weekend on my 780 wish me luck may just alter TDP and PT using this and do the LLC hack to see how it goes. I don't really want more than 1.23-1.235V anyways as its a reference board and I don't want to blow up the VRM's.

Hopefully tomorrow if I can get my pots back. So far this card is overclocking really well on air. Well the memory is anyways. It's sitting at 7384MHz @ stock voltage of 1.212v I haven't messed with the GPU yet. I'll do that after I find out what this memory caps out at. Also, the fans on this card is nowhere near as loud @ 75% fan speed than 680 Classified was at the same speed.

So final clocks on card #1 is 1346Mhz core / 7736MHz memory @ 1.264v on the multimeter.

I did end up adjusting the power table for the lulz. Not bad for almost 4 hrs worth of work. :nerd:

Ive ran 1.4~ish volts and 450watts under load with no ill effects.. I havent seen any blow up yet.

Edit: Obviously dont try that on air. Just saw this on the titan owner club

i didnt put any pads on the inductors, surprised i havent ran into any issues.. Gonna have to do that soon. Also i may finish and update that guide now that the OP of the tool has decided to start updating it.
