I agree with you guys that he should post all version links to his front page. I am thinking however that he may have decided not to post v4.0 there because of the "Demon Sky" issue. Just a thought.

Also for those who missed it page 13 post #307 has a link to Kadzaits updated v4.0

 

Why have you locked out the options to change vsync, refresh rate etc etc with v4?

To get wathdogs running smoother I have to use vsync. I can't even force it using Nvidia control panel.

Unusable for me like this.

 

It is taking Ubisoft a long time to come out with a patch for this game. Hopefully it doesn't destroy any of the hard work users on this forum have accomplished.

Also the Battlefield Hardline BETA is pretty great. Enjoy!

all@Ultra ... except AA = temporalSMAA and textures=High (medium in XML file) and locked to 30FPS with NVInspector ... very smooth :banana:

 

Highest Settings using Kadzait24's v4.0 WIP

Here are some screenies from Kadzait24's v4.0 WIP

You can see the "demon sky" and red lightning effects.

All Images are on Ultra with highest settings other than the ultra textures that require 3GB in Display options. This is set to high. It should be noted I usually use SweetFX but I am not using it here.

Sorry I can't figure out how to post images like the ones above. So I just posted the links. Tried using IMG option in the editor. Didn't work.

EDIT: I used the BB code method from imagebam but still only have small thumbnails.

 

Did you add TheWorse bloom mod for this ? Looks stunning, but i dont see all that good looking bloom in Version 4.0 :0)

Hey kadz, I'm new here too, and I really admire all the work you have done this far... Btw, keep up the good work! I also have a small problem with this 4.0 WIP mod, since it looks like that it makes no change to my game, where u mentioned that the games creates the .xml itself and we just put the .dat and .fat file inside data_winx64... Idk, but the game seems so vanilla to me, apart where I used 3.0's .xml and actually saw many changes... Is there any way that you post your .xml or this will work with the next update?

 

well im kind of out of ideas, i cant get blackout back i did change LightProbesMinAmbient to only0,0005 and the night is still far to bright with blackout, its almost like a cloudy day, other than that this mod is great

I just logued in.

The 4.0 is posted twice, but as is a beta i wont post it at the main post since there will be the 5.0 and the improvements from it, since it has a lot more stuff and actually now the game is looking gorgeous.

The 5.0 wont need XML, since i scripted everything inside the game files so the XML is made by the game itself.

And i will add the Vsync, no issues.

Btw, "TheWorse" said in his "thread" that he wont upload his file since i could "steal it" ..... WTF??????

TheWorse thread has become to be the fun of guru3d.

The guy took my job after i uploaded it here, after chasing me and he created that thread with a buggy bloom file that doesnt looks anything like E3 (* you cant see from 2 meters away ) and now he claims he is going to add a "bokeh" and thats the player camera, impossible to play like that. And i already did that too, its posted here in main page.

This guy should be banned , its taking my job and he is calling it his job. And for "THEWORSE" he has the attitude to say im going to steal something from the guy !!!!!!

And his "mod" uses XML, when you dont need to use that !!!!!

I will now continue my job, and for once respect the people effort, this guy is an insult.

 

I am sure you are telling the truth, that's why you are upset.
The best you can do is avoid problems and keep this gorgeous job up, and the most important:

Do not feed the trols!

In my opinion the "worse mod" is good but very buggy, because of the " E3 Bloom", and needs some stuff like sweet fx to be good.

Yours is as the game had to be.

I'm anxiously waiting for 5.0. I refuse to play this game without it modded and every time I turn around theres new fixes and additions to them :bounce:

 

Of course is the truth, anyone knows that.

This TheWorse guy has been banned from here , for faking and trolling.

And people is not stupid, they just open his patch.dat file and all inside that file is my work. That he took from me when i uploaded to guru3d all my versions.

And he doesnt even knows how to mod a game, he use XML and thinks placing commands there will get things right, it will work like crap, buggy, unusable.

That guy should be banned, is an insult to the community.
