If headlight shadow is still buggy, then I'd rather have it turned off. Even the Source engine does it better lol.

HAX! Here I am inside a underground parking area. I triggered a blackout or so I thought. Some of you probably would think this is cool for online play but I don't. I consider this to be buggered and needs to be fixed "Calibration is 40". Oh and yes online play still works with uplay before the 1.3 Ubi patch. I don't use offline mode and my game still never updates ;)

Please do, also PM me. I want to make a collborative effort on files so its not like "this mans tweak" or this mans tweaks" if there are people other than the worse, kadz modifying files id rather it be a collaborative effort so its easier on the end user.

It looks very nice in the day in the Beta 3, and at night as well. I don't prefer DoF in any mod so I used the game menu to turn it off and it didn't seem to affect anything adversely. Maybe others who turned off DoF can report if it affected anything but so far it hasn't.

I just use Cheat Engine to change my time of day. Can go from day to night in a few key presses. And can rapidly go forwards and backwards if need be. Info here if you're really curious. Could save a lot of time.

Does anyone have a comparison between this mod vs TheWorse's mod?

That's probably a lot of work, and switching between these 2 mods isn't exactly straight forward (as of right now, it can be tricky to install TheWorse via the configurator).

People are probably waiting until these are finalized\stabilized before doing an in-depth comparison.

really now? it's as easy as deleting the patch.dat/fat files and then be sure to just edit the config file through theworse mod to show your path and then setup your setting with the WDTooL and your set

I think the DOF needs reducing a little, other than that its very good.

    Hey Kadz

Did you add black smoke or is it bug?

Look at the DoF I am using. Look how far the car is and the DoF is behind the car. Is this how people would like it?

My Watch_Dogs runs at 20 FPS (with a GTX 760) with High settings, stutters MASSIVELY and always reverts to a custom (not mine) setting every time I restart the game...help?

Put together a patch with v5 beta.3 along with BOSS DoF and MaLDo's stutter fix today, and the game runs really well now. It still stutters a little bit here and there, and I have to keep shadows set to medium with everything else high or ultra, but at least it's playable.

Amazing work Kad. Can't wait to see the final product.

That is much better. Having the DOF too close disrupts your focus (as in, what you are paying attention to, not 'photographic focus'). The current DOF if far too close, it would be distracting and detract from the other benefits of the mod. You could even have the DOF a little further away.

The issue with DOF is your are viewing a '3D' worlds 'transcribed' onto a 2D surface. By have the DOF too close and visibly present, your eyes try to focus the blur which would increase eye strain over time. If you have it in the far distance this won't happen. Even in that screenshot, the DOF is too close to avoid this type of eyestrain especially over extended periods.

I'd be redistributing the work of 3 different guys without having permission, so no. But I can do a little write-up on how to make your own patches and where to get the files from if you like.

Can you teach which files/parts to use? I know how to use the Unpacker, I just don't know what to combine.
