Just won an Asus p8z77-v deluxe board...

    Now should I sell my current p9x79 pro along with the 3930K and buy a 3770K or should I just sell the z77 deluxe board?

    I'd just sell the deluxe board to be honest. the 3770K isn't in any way an improvement over your 3930K - you'd be losing performance really. the extra cores/threads make up for the very slight clock per clock increase on the ivy.

    1155 is a dead-end platform....it won't see Haswell. At least with X79, you still have IB-E to look forward to.

    I agree. Socket 2011 is kind of dead also, considering that the move to Haswell-E (if such a beast will exist) will require a new socket due to the new features and architecture.
