I just got MSI 2070 RTX Gaming X Trio which has three fans on it - freaking huge!

It doesn't fit in my standard ATX case.. barely got in but like an inch. I could mod it but don't have tools to do so :(.

FML. I will have to order one next week. I am looking at this case: NZXT H510i:

    Suggestion?

I started with a 2080 Ti, I ended with a full system rebuild. It happens... just accept it.

you named the fixes......new case or a saw (dremel or what not). cut out a chunk of the hard drive cage (or whatever is in front of it).

I presume i'll have to remove the motherboard to avoid ESD charges?

Honestly dude for how cheap cases are? I would just buy a new one and get something you enjoy, unless you are really a DIY kind of person.

BTW congrats on your 2070, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Biggest issue will be the shavings from the removal. I would recommend pulling the whole system out before hand.

Any suggestion? The card is.. 13 inch long, from what I glean from several users on da Newegg.

Yeah, looks like you could cut out a chunk out of the hard drive cage easily enough.

FIXED! A redneck friend of mine came to visit me. He told me the HDD/SDD cage is plastic. He just wrung it out saying "this is how you fix things, son.. and save money. Yer hear me?"

    Now.. man.. i'm so excited!

Sweet mother of Jesus... I am getting 80-100 FPS on GR: Breakpoint. AMD 5700 XT is utter crap: only got like 30-40 FPS. Yet this game is designed for AMD /smh.

RX on Control DX 12 is amazing. Well done Nvidia, well done! I am now forevermore loyal to Nvidia, the green man.

hehe reminds me of back then when I got my GTX 580 lightning... and had to get a new case as well because it didn't fit in my old one. First case I bought myself back then :D

    Enjoy your new card!

I will have to remove my SSD.. somehow. Man.. Intel Cherrywood's SSD is very reslient.

I just have to bend the HDD cage.. it's kinda bendy and weaky; it's the way of the redneck!

Anyways, all of my PCI-e slots are used up; I can install PCI-e for my Sound Blaster Z, but that will block the airflow from the graphic card in front of the fan. Egh..

    Any ideas?

What's the normal ambient range temperature for this card? 65 C while gaming?

65 degrees is very good whilst gaming. Now just enjoy the new card.

    Buy a dremel.
I cut 2 cases to fit large graphics cards, great tool.
