corsair hx620 cant run may gtx295 oc version even i set my processor to stock speed and down clock my mems to 800hz. my system still crashes on far cry 2. i'll try running crysis warhead and cod5 to test it some more.
this forum is one of the reason why i get my gtx295 oc version. i think im going for corsair hx1000 this time
tried crysis warhead and it still crashes. it gives me a blue screen and making memory dump just like in far cry 2. when i disabled the mulit-gpu acceleration the games run without problems. do this confirm that my corsair hx620 cant power my gtx295 oc version. planning to headout and buy corsair hx1000. i know it's to much for gtx295 but i think it will be future proof. need to spend much money to use gtx295 oc. =( if it's not my psu, what do you think is the problem? i dont have this problem on my old 8800gts 512mb
1 problem off the bat is you are using a 32bit operating system you can only access 4gb total memory. this includes your video cards. that video card memory is 1792mb. so that leaves only 2gb of your system memory available out of 4gb. try taking out 1 stick of system memory. if that doesnt help you may have a psu problem.
ok, thanks for the help guys. i'll try it... im getting frustrated with my card... i'll get back to the forum after doing further testing
tried ypur suggestion and it still crashes. im getting corsair hx1000 today to determine if it's a psu problem. i think it can also determine if it's my gtx295 oc is the problem after getting the hx1000. i'll be posting the results later. i got no one to try my gtx295 oc on their rig so i guess i have no choice but to spend money again to fix this. thanks for the inputs. really appreciate it...
