its probably a PC monitor rather then an actual TV, as far as i know benq makes only pc monitors but i could be wrong too.
That's right. It's an lcd monitor with hdmi, vga, & dvi inputs w/ hdcp built in. The only other options for the $350 price range were ~19"-22" 720p lcd tv's. The 2nd reason I bought a PS3 was for blu-ray, and since the ps3 apparently has an issue with displaying 1080p on 720p (effectively turning it into 480p), I decided 1080p was the only way to go if I didn't want to have to deal with all that bs. I think I made the right decision though.

Are there any games in the works that arn't extremely mainstream and we might have not heard about? Basically, beyond MGS4, FFXIII, GT5, Haze, and a handful of very sought after games, what are you most excited about?
If you want killzone, you should try resistance fall of man 1 and 2 when it comes out. Im sure those will keep you satisfied untill Killzone2. :banana: Also give Heavenly Sword a rent...i bought the game i like it so much short but sweet.
Kyle, I was curious about how you were hooking up your ps3 to a monitor. I bought one the other day and it should arrive soon, I know you can get a HDMI to DVI converter and plug it into your monitor, but where would the audio go?
I have my choice between HDMI and HDMI to DVI with this monitor. I don't see any difference between either. As far the the sound goes, it has cheap speakers built in and I'm sure I could use a stereo to headphone adapter to use them, but fortunately I don't have do. I just hooked it up to my Z-5500's through the optical input. Sounds great .
