I am just trying to see what most GTX1060 3gb owners are getting out of their cards clocks with max OC? I am amazed at the performance of my little MSI GTX 1060 3gb OCV1 SINGLE FAN card! I just ran Firestrike with Core at 2101mhz and Memory at 2202mhz at 70c scored 13000+ in graphics 11275 total with my I7-7700. I was just so surprised at the difference compared to my buddies RX 580 8gb card he can't hardly get +75 on the core without Wattman reseting! I still haven't got artifacts but afraid of frying the little guy and prices right now are really high so I'll quit while I am ahead! Just curious to see what others can get out of their GTX1060's.

I am still pleased to get almost 1400 points increase by overclocking my single fan 1060 3gb from a stock 1060 6gb score. +15% is a good jump in overall scores with 3d Mark in my opinion! This other score (9300) is my old rig bought in 2009 first gen i7 860 8gb ddr3 and a PNY 1060 3gb which you only beat by 600 points and my new rig is the other. https://www.3dmark.com/fs/12566235 https://www.3dmark.com/fs/13219454
I yeah I realize that! I was surprised how well it OCed and scored in 3d Mark and I was wondering if other owners if there cards perform similar. In most games at the same high settings it might drop 3-6 frames to a 6gb card but will out perform a stock 6gb with a +200 core and 400+ memory overclock by 1200 points in 3d Mark Fire Strike see above in 2nd post and get 3-6 frames more in games. That performance surprised me thats all I was saying. I am just waiting to get a 1070 or 1070ti when/if prices drop because I just bought this rig. Where do you guys mostly shop for your gear? I am trying to find a good reliable and who keeps stocked popular products? Thanks!
A 3GB card will have difficulty with high resolutions and high effects quality and detail texture quality. gl
