well i installed these drivers and when i put the resolution to my monitors native res (1440x900) the screen is longer then the monitor!

i have to go to the right and left side of my screen to move it back and forth to see my clock or the START button...how do i fix this without having to go down to a lower resolution? :(

it is a driver problem l had the same problem with another driver, l think the beta of this, as the driver is having problems with the aspic part of it and won't fit properly to the monitor.

Its the same 162.22 driver that was posted earlier, it just got MS WHQL certification now, thats all. No other functional changes, otherwise the number would change.

i dont understand why nvidia. creative .. among many others are having such a hard time writting drivers for vista? its totally amazing. its almost like ms just threw vista on them and told them to write drivers. xp started out rough too but did not have nearly as much issues. i kno alot changes with the final release of windows. but companys had such a long time to prepare or atleast get an idea of how things function and work. i mean i dont make drivers so i would not know. we are just starting to get things right... rumor has it that sp1 wont be out till 2009 windows 7 will be out alil later than that. and it will start all over again? will writting drivers be diff much from vista? who knows. if ms was smart they would release sp1 soon. vista works fine but there are alot of things to be improved. especially when u try to do alot of things at once the os is easy confused. wireless issues. ect. :puke2:

Is it just me or do these drivers suck in DX10? I've lost 15-20FPS off Lost Planet.

No Service Pack 1 until 2009? Sounds a bit far-fetched to me, even for a rumour.

yeah 2009 is bullsh1t because Microsoft has already made a beta version of the Service Pack available to a selection of testers and did reveal that a public beta will be released by the end of 2007. So 2008 is most likely

yea 2009. i was very doubtful from the start. i wonder why the games with this sp1 deal. yes i agree vista is good. but theres still lots of tweaks and fixes that could be implemented. its suppose too also update the kernel with the one from server 2008. i heard alot of ppl are using server 2008 beta b/c all or most of the fixes from sp1 are in it. just wut i heard not sure how true

No, sp1 will be released soon eneough guys.. though I'm positive it is less because of Vista.. This is and has always been a driver problem and it has been said to death that devs are going for stability, not performance.. yet.

Which is fine by me. The 163.11 are awesome drivers.. really they are. I haven't had a single issue with them at all and games play pretty good on em. Just give it time and we'll see our hardware shine..
