    Deadmau5, on his own Facebook page posted a photo that shows a plaque signed and authorized by the mayor of Las Vegas proclaiming January 2, 2012 to be Deadmau5 Day.

    I'll let the image speak for itself:

    He's one of the biggest House DJ's on the planet....for the last 4-5 years has been consistently ranked among the world's top 10.

    no idea how some of you haven't heard of deadmau5 but he's pretty awesome. i think he's a bit overrated but his stuff is usually unique and he constantly produces great stuff. his live shows are a blast to go to, with focus going towards stage effects to make it more fun for the people there.

    on top of all that he helps other artists work their way up, like skrillex.

    I had seen the name around but only found out who he was a few days ago. His music seems like watered down electronic music for the pop crowd.

    I've noticed alot of ppl don't know him, but besides Ghosts n' Stuff which was mainly helped by Rob Swire (who is lead in Pendulum) if you don't know the band look up a song..

    Deadumau5 has repetivive beats during every one of his songs, that are long and boring... Just listen to something like A City in Florida... you'll get the idea how the intro is like 2 freaking minutes..... boring..

    I'll stick with Justin Beiber and John Mayer... lol :banana:

    If your listening to electronic music and you don't know DeadMau5, its probably because your listening to something on your tape deck back from the 90's, its about time to get some fresh air out of your basement...HAHA!

    DeadMau5 is first of all a composer, he is still ranked 4th best DJ in the world next to the best like David Guetta, Tiƫsto and all the others...

    If your Sh*t spins on the TV/Radio all day long it doesn't mean your are renowned, it means the media likes you and your somewhat mainstream...Which doesn't apply to DeadMau5....

    You can also watch an EpicMealTime episode with DeadMau5;

    He's put a lot of work into the progressive house genre, but has become commercialized somewhat as of the past couple of years.

    He's okay.. really good just needs to structure a bit more.. I like his tunes.. just he lacks
    the build up thing & the relapse to the lows... Love his stuff to be honest. Just heard
    that he's lacking something in his live sets. The mixes/melds they dont gell or something.
    Which I can believe after listening to it all.
