I may be too old, to know about cars and rear motor ones...did not even knew there were rear motored cars...I always found it so stupid to fall in love for a piece of metal, no matter how great the car may look...But we can all agree he died being a jackass...drunk and drive does not mix at all.

Jalopnik even goes so far as to admit that members of their own site are creating fake articles stating that it was a hoax.

It's hard to charge someone with a crime....when they're dead...

According to TMZ, MTV, Fox News, ABC News, and CBS News....as well as Jalopnik, it's true....as I said, Jalopnik has even admitted that members of their site have been creating false news reports claiming that Ryan Dunn faked his death. But, they even state he is in fact dead.

ABC News and CBS News would have both pulled the stories if it was found to be fake...

This is what happens when you tweet while driving under the influence.

Hopefully on the date of your deaths, people wait a day before they start throwing your faults in before your pros.

    This

Also, I understand those who are against drunk driving. But....

If you were on a jury, and it it was a drunk driving offense, Would you recommend the death penalty for the defendant? People seem to be saying he got what he deserved.
I don't know if he was drunk or not.I've not seen the tox screen.Even if he was, I think he paid too steep a price.

Nah, death is too heavy a price. I'm not happy (and I can't understand how you can be happy about someone else's death) just indifferent — people die everyday because of war, famine and whatnot. Dying because you were playing with your life won't trigger any sympathy on my part.

About my own relatives... I really hate it when hear or see that they act carelessly about driving conditions (as in, they forget their glasses at home, or, when it comes to my dad, drunk driving, though he doesn't do it anymore).

Those claiming he got what he deserved, truly have no respect for human life....

Well I'd say rest in peace but he is a murderer, when you have a passenger you are responsible for their life. He killed said passenger.

I doubt he forced the passenger to get into his car, you can't put all the blame on him.

It's not about forcing. He was the driver and he had a passenger in the car. It doesn't feel right to romanticize a person who not only was a potential danger to pedestrians but also killed the passenger.

We don't glorify convicted murderers, drunk drivers who killed somebody should not be remembered fondly.

I don't think anyone is glorifying him here. Furthermore a murderer has intent, I doubt Mr. Dunn was intending on killing his friend and himself.

Although he did do something completely idiotic (assuming all the reports are true), people are still allowed to mourn his death. People make stupid decisions, and its easy for everyone to sit behind the screen and make wild comments, but at the end of the day he was a human that brought plenty of laughs to millions and I hope people remember him for that. Yes, he shouldn't of got behind the wheel, but we all know that already.

"where murder requires either the intent to kill – a state of mind called malice, or malice aforethought – or the knowledge that one's actions are likely to result in death"

If not satisfied lets call it a manslaughter.

I don't like to jump on a bandwagon. When something does not involve us we're all so smart but lets say that was your son in the car with him, would you still be so noble? His career wasn't noble either, cheap self abuse for entertainment.

I am simply trying not to be hypocritical. A person in the wrong is a person in the wrong, I don't and my guess most of you here don't mourn and say "RIP" when other criminals die.

Driving under alcohol or drugs effects is having so much respect for human life you mean?

I don´t deserved the death of that guy but before killing someone else because of his fault.... sorry man.
