Hell, you'll be out long before I get in. Good luck and God speed. It sure takes balls to go into the frying pan when the fire is on.

Im going in as a pilot for the Apache flight program. But not until I drag my ass through ROTC first.

You can try *cracks knuckles* ;)

I was in the Air Cadets a while ago, but I figured I wasnt smart enough and didnt feel like doing 8 billion years of school to have a very slim chance to be a pilot. Plus I like the ground more. :p

Hah, yeah... getting injured isnt exactly up there on my list of priorities :p

I dont think its fully sunk in that I wont be living here any more. I find it strange I meet all these people in Toronto right before Im going away (and not coming back except to visit family and stuff). Im getting more and more excited with each passing day. :D:D:D

Oh, and at least I have quick reaction times from playing FPS games all the time ;) :nerd:

no they dont. I know their heavy & I also know that they leave an exit wound the size of a golf ball. the sound of this rifle is also deafening as the barrel is made more like the specification of a main tank cannon barrel.

the fact that no1 will be standing or atleast alive after a shot from this rifle makes it a very sought after weapon of choice. an excellent weapon with great accuracy, stopping power & penitration. even kevlar wont stop a 50.cal fired from a high powerd rifle such as this.

kevlar? ur talking about kevlar... lol i would wear titanium armor and wear a space suit inside with 1000000 hours of oxygen... enough to last an entire battle... and just wait it out in a ditch.. try to penetrate that lol

I know from my time in the US Army that their motto is "Hurry up and Wait"

I am sure it is universal.

    Ugh...

I remember my military days...(conscription)...basic training was hell. Running up hill in the rain with the wind in your face for 10 miles with full battle gear with the mud making the running all the more difficult. FUN.

I'm glad I got out of it after 3 years. Anyways, good luck. If its something you really want to do I wish you all the best.

Oh and btw, Freedom Eclipse, kevlar is meant to block ricochets, not direct hits. I believe only the heaviest body armor can stop a direct hit from only a 9mm.

I was reading the Army News website and this came up... heres another thing that our soldiers do; Volunteer for the community. I personally think thats great because it builds support and makes the kids happy. The parents (and kids themselves) have good experience with the soldiers and that makes them realize that again, we are real people too.

Also thanks again to the compliments since... much respect :)
