Tis 'bout time. Too bad nobody will buy it resulting in few people making games for it resulting in even less people buying it and so on n so forth until it drops to $50 and there are ten games that support it.

Because I'm pretty happy with things how they are now and don't want to buy into something that only tech demos and games made 5 years from now might support.

Also, it probably doesn't have Linux drivers.

I continue to wonder how they can even afford a new product, I expected the company to die after PhysX release. Two GPU's plus one PhysX card plus one AI card, haha.

EDIT: This card is not from Aegia, my bad.

I think this could be pretty useful in games like Oblivion or STALKER. Make all AI massively dynamic.

Concerning Stalker you only need mods to get the AI really dynamic (faction wars and such things).

    or sports/racing games

if only this would be supported in NBA LIve and each player's AI will be patterned after the actual player...

The AI processor would still greatly enchance pathfinding. The AI entities would for example properly seek for cover in a firefight.

My SB Live could probably do AI calculations, what a load of BS.

Anyway, dont you know nvidia & AMD will say you can use an old GFX card to do it, in your 4th PCI-E x16 slot...................

Great ,more waste of valuable watts from my PSU with another pointless hardware release designed to try and re-invent the concept of a wheel. This is destined to die out.

The AI in other games can do that pretty well, without additional hardware, just let one CPU core calculate AI and there is enough room for improvement in the future.

Well, now we have a dedicated AI processor, and physics processor to go along with our CPU, GPU and sound cards. What's next? An "advanced lighting" processor? I don't know about you guys, but I don't want 25 cards in my PC doing what can be easily done with a good GPU and CPU. This is getting out of hand......
