He got banned in amd driver section. He used to pm me links daily at some of the stuff posted in that section. After reading some of that stuff I regretted even poping in there for a short time. He lost his cool in some of his posts. Constant moaning about amd drivers.

That's what I'm a little scared of. If the card is dependent on driver support to be effective at 4k, it's sunk.

My point was that we AMD owners have all all been on AMDs side, and trying to explain to them for years why they cannot keep customers.
And that is driver support for games upon release.

Its not marketing, not benchmarks, not better hardware, not a cool new name for your hardware.

People who can afford high end GPUs, can also afford to buy games on
launch and they expect those games to work on launch day on the hardware they bought.
And they DEFINITELY don't want to spend launch day not playing their new game but instead having to post on forums and begging AMD for drivers / x-fire support for their new game.

Yet AMD seems to keep improving everything BUT driver support.

And they keep losing market share while people buy competitors hardware instead due to better support.

If everyone keeps making excuses and defending them and they continue doing things the way they are now......well they are just simply not going to be around anymore.

Say whatever you want...The numbers don't lie, the way AMD is doing things now is not working!
They continue to lose market share.

If it can destroy a titan and come in under 6 bills im in. Thats the kind of $/performance ratio hole amd's support has dug themselves into in order to make themselves worthwile imo.

I Hope this article is just hot air, and That the HBM card is on par with the 980ti performance:). If not then it has to reflect that in the price they're asking .

Only time will tell now , i really would love AMD to deliver a super product to knock nvida of the top spot but something inside me says that this wont happen with this generation of cards

Well one thing is a safe bet this time around...amd is tweaking the clocks as high as possible now to compete directly with 980ti and tx so dont expect much if any over clock headroom and or lower power usage (compared to Hawaii)

I think nvidia's 980ti release price and performance somewhat caught them with there pants down..amd is freely admitting there not going to be done for a couple of weeks now:wanker:
