I actually can't believe this hasn't been posted yet, or at least, nothing came up in the Search.

I am a flat Earth... debunker and I find it utterly hilarious and embrace the insanity that these morons spout as entertainment. I love pulling apart their comments and showing them up for the idiots that they are. I loving watching them use logical fallacy after fallacy and outright celebrating their lack of education.

I love it as they make outright denials and refusals to answer even the most trivial question that reveals their utter infantile delusional fantasies for what they are.

CoolHardLogic has a series called World of Batshit and while they're not all about flat Earthers, a few are.

This may also lead you onto Spirit "Science" tests Spirit "Science" which just had me literally on the floor laughing uncontrollably, I was in utter hysterics.

Surprised you didn't mention Rocket guy who's launching himself on a steam powered rocket to prove the earth is flat lol.

Yeah, I heard about him. Apparently, he's delayed launching a few times, maybe even a dozen times. That's because he is probably still crowdfunding by appealing to an idiot's sense of "doing something important" and that is why he will never launch. And, on the off chance he does, the headline will be...

Flat Earth Retard Perishes Due to Stupidity.

A flat Earther launched a powerful rocket today in an attempt to assess the shape of the planet. Despite the risk of hitting muh domes, he proceeded as planned. Approximately 90 seconds after launch, ‘Mad’ Mike Hughes, 61, encountered minor problems that he was unable to overcome. The vessel and its single occupant did not survive.

And in other news, today a child found out that water is wet and grass is, in fact, green.

If I recall there was a thread at least touching the subject.

I also recall it got closed pretty fast... you'd think you needn't argue anno 2017 what Copernicus found already in the 15th century (and quite a few others long before him).

In the current state of the world with all the so called "fake news", a lot of people don't believe something unless they can see it with their own eyes. I can understand to a degree why people think that, but believing the Earth is flat is on a whole other level of stupid.

The thread was closed? Wow, I wouldn't expect flattards in here. I saw that comment about the flat Mars Society and the Flat Earth Society, or whoever posted that comment, admitted that something was a sphere! That person has surely been taken out and shot by now.

Imagine in a few thousand years what people will think we currently believe is stupid. Dark matter and energy come to mind.
But yea, why anyone would believe earth is flat today is beyond me too.

What bothers me most about it is just the contrarian aspect of the argument. Nobody stopped to ask why so many people would lie about something that affects nobody's day to day life in any real way.

The earth isn't flat. That's stupid. The earth is hollow with the sun in the center.

Well there was some pointless arguing going on, hence closed.

The thread was about something else originally as well. Not sure, just browsed through it, admittedly.

You won't get shot here for thinking the Earth is round ;)
Or Mars or any planet for that matter :D

I think a lot of people that get into flat-Earth got there because of their lack of trust with anything NASA related.

Here's NASA graphic/CGI designer Russel Simmons explaining how the Earth images are composites.

Then you find out that all of the images you see like this are made by artists that render them based on graph data, such as this. Space satellites are apparently fake according to flat-Earth theory, as there's a firmament above Earth's atmosphere.

Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that there's literally zero footage of a NASA/SpaceX rocket travelling from Earth into space in one scene. The footage always cuts before they reach orbit.

This video appeared on YouTube a while ago showing what apparently looks like a staging scene on the Apollo 11.

Those are just a few things flat-Earthers speculate on regarding NASA.

Some actually believe in the "concave" or cell Earth. It's not quite a Dyson Sphere. I don't know, something.

They use that "photoshop" thing all the time. The fact is, those are taken by Low Earth Orbit satellites and are pasted together and that's why it's photoshopped because "it has to be".

They will ignore images from EPIC aboard DISCOVR in Lagrange Point 1. The Himawari-8's staggering resolution and rate of images at 1 every 10 minutes with a supernatural ability to predict the weather. You may also have them talk about how different "globes" have different sized continents, like this...

The earth is cube shape... When you level a telescope on Earth's plane and get to 1/4 of the distance(back to you} you see space/sky....Vision cannot see around a 90° turn without the help of mirrors.

I'm a firm believer that the moon is made of cheese, Swiss cheese to be exact.

So let us gather in the "Swiss Cheese Moon Society". SCMS for short if that's a mouthful. :p

    Question?

If I put a mirror at every point of visual Horizon angled slightly down towards a new horizon could I really see the back of my head looking through a telescope aimed that said mirrors?

^Don't know about that, but if you have a reflected surface on the ISS you'll see strange anomalies, like this for instance -

Skip to 4:50. As soon as the woman says "really shocking.." at 4:54, you'll see a guy with a purple shirt on walk into the shot, no space suit.

So you're telling me a fat black guy with a purple hoodie essentially photobombed NASA's top secret faking program, and they just sent the footage anyway? Lmao. It's good to question things, but reflections aren't always what they appear to be.
