In the category unique yet a little busy on the eyes, check out the Cyber board, a crowdfunded keyboard at Indogogo that is bound to lit up that gaming room of yours. And yes, Cyberboard, hints toward... Its a lot to take, but the LED panel based CyberBoard keyboard looks Impressive
What's the point in this? It seems like the LEDs can not be seen well as they are facing away from the user. Further, they are aimed toward the monitor, and so could cause distracting reflections. If they were aimed toward the user then it'd even be possible to use for information. Flashing for alerts like new emials, or glowing colours for temperatures, etc.
I don't know if it's the good time to sell something with RGB led, as it is as "futuristic" as a betamax video recorder. The keyboard in itself seem to be good... we have to check if it is "steel ball proof"as the tesla supertruck
First impression was that of a typewriter or that of a card punch terminal, all it is missing is tiny levers/switches.
That looks a lot like my Atari 800 from 1982. It seems pretty massive. You could build a PC in that thing.
Because in some country he was light grey or beige with this kind of chassis (a bit like a C64 with edge) instead of the black and white classical design, we had the white one with separate keyb, white were cool but tend to become yellow pee after 6 month or so lol... i miss the build quality of the 80' lol
I miss the point too. It sure looks like a fun gadget to show off in some lan party, but it doesn't look comfortable to use. Even though your device has rather pointless features, what good it is if you don't want to use it? Silly days.
just for fun the packaging, and a word about the build of the keyboard: it should be excellent as all the mechanic is made by the one that do Leopol, varmilo, Ducky... one of the best maker. i like the packaging...
