    New
Replaced the PSU with a thermaltake 850w 70a single rail model (Toughpower Grand Series), and updated the bios from f3 to f8 (which included some gfx combatibility issues apparently). Just ran 3dmark and got 400 more points (9474 to 9895) so hopefully that fixed something.

    Edit:
After updating the bios from version to F3 to F8 on my motherboard (which includes GPU compatibility fix, which probably fixed it to be fair) and the new PSU i have had a crash free afternoon consisting of 3dmark, furmark and Deus Ex Mankind Divded (Ultra/very high 1440p).

Hopefully thats the end of my issues (knock on wood)

I think you'll be fine. As I said last page. Sounded like PSU issues to me. Hope you get to enjoy that monster of a card now!

Seriously, there has been some great advice in this thread. A local forum i'm on ignored the question and flamed me for spending money on the card in the first place....

I think i've done just about everything now bar return the card for warranty, so hopefully doesn't require that.

Another successful night of gaming. I think we've squashed the bug.

Also. This card is a monster.

Glad we could help. Guru3d is the place to get the 411. The Don has kept this place in great shape for many years. No reason for flaming, those users are usually just jealous. If I could afford a 2080ti right now I'd have one. But the budget doesn't allow for it.

A 4K BEAST! Glad your issues seem to be gone!

Yes, guru3d has been my source of advice since my 8800GT/9800GTX/HD5850 CF days. Game on what you can afford, it's all a matter of perspective

Glad you got it figure out.. yah with these 20 series cards they seem to be a ton more power hungry compared to some previous generations.

My friend picked up a 2080 as well upgrading from a 970 and his poor 600W Antec couldn't cope with it at all.. his PC would just flat out turn off when he tried to run more demanding games.
