I just bought an ASUS Strip motherboard and the USB speeds are so slow, unstable and cause the PC to stutter. I'm on the latest BIOS.... But it didn't help. I google the issue and apparently it's a big thing with Ryzen that they released BIOS of, but it obviously hasn't helped me.
Things to try: Disable TPM/Security Device Disable IOMMU Disable PBO, Core Performance Boost, and PSS Set LLC for SOC and CPU to Level 3 Increase SOC voltage Enable Spread Spectrum on SB and VRM Disable Above 4G Decode If your board has a separate ASMedia controller with its own ports (my ASUS X470 board does), use those for high-speed and high-polling devices (mouse)
in my experience ASUS hardware is garbage return it for another brand neither of my X570s have issues. Just out of curiosity what are you transferring too and how big a file? Some of my thumb drives get real hot and throttle
USB controller cyclical resets due to errors attributed to impulse noise, its not issues with the x570, the ports attached to this are usually the ones that work but instead the usb ports on the cpu.
