Is there a way to get a screenshot after upscaling takes place on the GPU?

I'm trying to get a screenshot after the GPU upscales an image in a fullscreen game. My goal is to compare the results based on a setting Nvidia Inspector shows, which is Nvidia Quality Upscaling. I think I see an improvement, but I want to be sure it isn't a placebo effect and I can't find a way to capture an upscaled image. Any help would be appreciated.

You would need a hdmi capture card I think that takes uncompressed screenshots to compare upscaling methods

That's what I was afraid of. It seems technically possible (I'm pretty sure game consoles capture after upscaling), but maybe not with Windows.
