    take a look at this
the card is tweaked @1935mhz locked at 893mv and 16gbps vram oc
power limit at 104% but it never actually goes past 99% tdp
    checked the cable,it's room temperature.
it's a superflower 850w leadex gold psu (led connectors)

Superflower platform typically uses 16awg wires on PCIe, 157w is fine on an 8pin.

    no idea what that means
what is the max power draw for 16awg ? 216 ?

16AWG(american wire gauge) is a universal measurement of the thickness of the wire.
The smaller the awg the thicker the wire which means it can handle more current.

Anyways, for 16awg it will be rated for 240w~ give or take.
You're not even close to the rated limit.

Afaik that information is correct and also applies to 8 pin CPU power supply.

it says they're rated for 125 degrees on the cable.

Has nothing to do with the brand. it's a PCIe specification for that wire gauge.

If you want to get into the specifics, look up ATX specification and you can find all the spec limits and other info.
