I noticed upon turning my computer on, I see this wavy blue lines across the scren. I could not load up MSI Afterburner as it stop function. My first thought was, is the card dying?

I am considering buying a new card, but would like someone's confirmation first.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Have you run any temperature monitoring software to see if it's overheating? If you're still using an 8800GT then you might be having issues with newer drives since that card is pretty old honestly.

did you just took screenshot to check if your videocard is dying? :D

Please take a photo of your monitor.

Reinstall drivers first, could be bad software issue.

If you have the GPU stated in your info then it sure is old as heck. Wouldn't be a bad idea to replace it.

Your Windows 7 Aero is definitely not working....no avatars showing only exclamation marks so something is wrong.
