    hey guys

so um today while checking my mail i randomly had a computer freeze , unable to do anything i restarted the computer and found the bios boot screen to be extremely slow anyways i just went back to everything defaults and my system is fine again..

i thought i had a pretty conservative overclock and my temps would never reach higher then 40C under max stress test.

Post up your OC settings for the AMD guys to advise you. Also, how long have you had those settings and what stress testing have you done?

Doesn't sound related to your overclock as if it was stable for a long period of time, it wouldn't freeze in Windows like that (and then perform slowly in the BIOS afterwards, where there's even less load).

    Run system file check
    go to cmd and type

    sfc /scannow (press enter)

Windows will now scan the system files for integrity violations aka corrupted files.

    Post back the results.

sfc checks for any protected system files that have been overwritten and replaces them with the original file from a .dll cache....

Yeah but sometimes they cant be replaced which means a reinstallation of the OS for best results.

hey guys i just put back the oc settings 1.41v @3.5ghz

    and everything is fine again..

ran IBT burn test on high 10 runs all passsed temps did not exceed 50C

and updated all my apps to the newest version.

also ran sfc scan - found no violations

hopefully it was a fluke or something
