Yesterday i bend some motherboard socket pin accidentally and tested it with my i7 6700 cpu to check the motherboard is working or not.

But 2 pins were shorted in motherboard and the pins were melted,i took it to the service centre they said the motherboard is gone, its fine,
now i fear has the cpu also damaged by shortage of pins? A small dot like area is affected in my cpu due to pin shortage i have given the link of cpu image plz tell me,is my cpu is damaged or not?
    Sorry 4 my bad english,

If you look closely you'll see that the area around that burned pin has overheated pretty severely. I wouldn't hold my breath that it's still ok, but I guess there's only one way to find out. Clean the pin and let someone else install the cpu. Cross your fingers it doesn't immediatly burn out the mainboard. (which might very well happen I might add)
