YES, triple buffer may affect card!!
did you get artifacts in bios running 8800GT??? because you don't read yet...
No artifacts. Only when I play games (3d) the graphics mess up, and eventually crash the game. When I play Football manager 2011 using 2d match engine, there are no problems.
ok. did you try disabled triple buffer (nv control panel or other program tool) and can you prevent crash/bsod?
triple buffer enabled or geforce driver issue may cause bsod crash/freeze.
Triple buffer has been disabled all along.
ya! but your 8800gt is bad. do you want buy gtx470?
Thank you, but no thank you! Next on my to do list is OC'ing my Q6600. I've never done that before so it will be exciting...
... Has My q6600 running at 4GHz and 1.6v.. Just saying ^^ (air)
*HAD. STUPID IPHONE SPELLCHECKINF! see it doesnt even work -.-
Can someone point me to a foolproof guide on how to OC my Cpu?
Yeah that OR we could just navigate you thru it "on the fly"
I wouldn't know where to start! I'm a complete noob when it comes to OC'ing!
Well first of all... What fan and mem speed
Have ya got
Try this guide long winded but nice
Nonsense. Absolute nonsense. Give it a rest with the false information. It helps nobody.
Theres a nice easy guide over in one of the other sub forums, i believe in the Intel section that should get you going no problem!
I am true info!! because my friend ("advice" and technic computer) already adviced me. lool
LOL! Yeah, the amount of times we here "oh my friend is a PC genius!" in the computer industry. I hear it every day, and 99% of the time they know diddle squat.
Triple buffering will not hurt graphics memory. Accept it or don't, either way you're wrong. End of discussion.
ok. when triple buffer enabled I waited to quit openGL program/demo to desktop during 5 seconds. do you have same problem?
have you tried oven baking your card?
it has worked on my 8800GT before
And that has what to do with destroying video memory?
triple buffer enabled (nv cp or d3d overrider) only may damage to vram (during long time = +-1 year or more after since new card) or cause bsod/freeze (any time). the driver issue (beta is very probably) may cause bsod/freeze.
