i currently have a x800gt and i want to get something new/better. Newegg has some really good deals with there x850xt for about 169. But is it worth buying, i know the core and the memoery clocks are slightly better and the pixel pipes are doubled. But is it worth it. I need something better to play The ES: Oblivion.
    I only have like 170...damn

    !!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!

If I were you Id save up and get something much more powerful like an x1900 or even an x1800. SM3 is a bonus and plus they are just much more powerful in general.

A x850xt would show u a large jump in performance though no doubt about it. If u cant afford a x1 class get the x850xt its a very fast card for the price.

    yeah

got bored so i went ahead and bought a sapphire x850xt for 154 off newegg. But i was reading some articles about it over heating. Should i buy a new cooler and is it easy to uninstall the old cooler and install a new one. And also how do i set up ati tool so the fan runs faster for better temps???

    thx for the help
