Hi, sorry if it's repeated, i'm using hd3850+xp, casual player (but still play 3d games soemtime) + use some 3d apps, seldom checking out ccc except sometime have a peek at temperature, that's all i usually have done with ccc, always find it bloated takes quite some time to load, just been wondering is it totally fine to remove it while keeping the drive alone? will it cause any inconvenience? cheers!

Unless you use the CCC to overclock/underclock your card or force AA and AF through profiles, which to me it sounds like you do not, it's absolutely safe to uninstall.

In the end the best course of actual may be to do a complete uninstall of all driver components and then reinstall just the basic driver package component, just based on my own experience where some versions of the installer have been less than helpful.

Yes, it's totally fine. I'm using Ati tray tools instead.
