Depends on the pricing. I would not pay 550eur for 3060ti.

Considering that the 2060 is a decent enough card and that the RTX 4000 are around the corner, it's probably best to wait a few months.
There is a good change you could double your performance with a 4060, but at the price of a 3060Ti.

4060 will be released in q1 2023 so not a few months.

    yeah 6700xt have dropped singnificantly.
it's like it shoould have been from the beginning, 6700xt opens the upper mid-range with price lower than 3060ti.
imo it's the best value card in the 400-600 range atm.

no rt though, that's a big drawback. but on the other hand you're getting a card that's cheaper than 3060ti with more vram, for rasterization it's better at lower price.

Still worth waiting, as he doesn't have a bad card. And with DLSS 2.x in so many games, even easier.

Thats what i would recommend op the 480eur 6700xt is the best deal atm but he insists on nvidia.

    well that's understandable
    because of dlss and rt
I wouldn't wanna lock myself out of those features just to save a little by going with amd

fsr2.0 is coming in more games and for a few rt games he can try isnt worth paying more for the 3060ti.

    spare us these platitudes
i'm getting a headache reading amd's X or Y is comingfor the hundredth time
fsr adoption rate is slow as molasses compared to dlss

fsr is still anecdotal, what's it going to be, 15 vs over 200 ?
and even with fsr, rt is just more expensive on amd, 3060ti is faster than 6800 by some margin

fsr2.0 will catch on and newer games support is important than the old ones. Who cares about 200 dlss games when half are crap.

if you dont care about rt 6800 destroys 3060ti, facts.

take a list of dlss support and fsr support and think again how stupid what you just wrote is

I think amd fans must be furious that amd actually takes more time to implement fsr than dlss, which was supposed to be the most important thing about it.

now that dlss is getting 200 games, it's suddenly not important what they've been doing since dlss 2.x.x launch, only future games will count.
can you have a clearer example of double standards, really

of course it's important to have support for every game. that's even more stupid. when you take a gpu review, do you not care how games that are already out run ?

another example of "this will only count when amd is better at it" way of biased thinking.

  14. I'm wondering what will happen when Intel adds its XeSS to the mix. I doubt that developers will be so much keen on implementing all three techniques. Hopefully an opensource solution will win once again... whichever it will be.

Dlss is great and i use it where it counts but there is quite a few games where it does not and yes future game support is more important and how you make a decision which card to buy.

As for rt you mention so much there a three games worthy to try where it makes a difference, Three lol...and funny thing is they look good even without it.

you still don't realize that you're using these biased criteria precisely because amd is slow to get fsr into more games.
dlss has been implemented into more and more games every month, while amd only has like 15 since rx6000 launch.
so according to you only future ones will count, when amd can get more.

    lol

"who cares if nvidia has 200". spoken like a real amd tool. I know you know better.
