    I just installed Far Cry 4 (2014 game!) and noticed I have only 55-75 FPS in Full HD even if I play Ultra settings.
    I know i7 6700 is not a new CPU but still strong, and it should be fine with Full HD and older games.

    My config:
    Asus ROG Strix Z270E Gaming
    Core i7 6700
    RTX 2080 Asus OC Dual (yeah i know its too strong for this cpu but later this good for 4k)
    16GB DDR4
    Windows 10 64bit
    And maybe this could help too: https://imgur.com/DhLcEZP

    So, what should i do? buy some i7-8700K and maybe i could play full hd? 8700K still 450~ USD and i dont think worth it for me. Later I want to play 4k and then 8700k still not enough. I dont want buy new CPU every 2 year.

    6700k is enough to feed that 2080. FC4 isnt a good example. I recall that game introduced some stuttering that was not present in previous one.

    Im sure some newer games run no problem on your system.

    From Nvidia Control Panel:{manage 3d settings} - farcry4.exe
    Texture filtering Quality - High Performance
    Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias - Allow
    ------------------------------
    - Open My documents > Open Folder My Games
    - Open Folder Far Cry 4
    - Open the GamerProfile.xml file with Notepad
    ------------------------------
    Search for the following and set to 1:
    GPUMaxBufferedFrames="1"
    DisableLoadingMip0="1"
