Is a higher end RX-590 going to be sufficient for 60FPS gaming when paired with an FX-8300 CPU?

I am getting really mixed feedback so far with this question, some say it will be more than enough, and some say that it won't. Videos on YouTube show that even the horribly unoptimised PUBG can run in 60FPS in this build but I'm still not 100% sure, so I'm looking at some more answers. Thank you in advance for your help!

    Most important, what resolution?

Lower video settings to get 60FPS with video card. CPU load however is more static and your CPU might not cut in.

You can test 60FPS with CPU cap by lowering video settings and lowering resolution on your current GPU.
CPU will be capped and you will be able to tell if your CPU is powerful enough.

Basically compare FPS with lower video settings and your current video settings. If there no difference, your CPU is just not powerful enough.

    Have to say no

FX cpu's are really not good for gaming as the single thread performance just is not there

It all depends on the game you will be playing. rx580/590 are not that bad pair with an fx8350. Many games will run just fine.

BF1 punishes CPU a lot. You may have lag spikes, not due GPU but CPU not being able to process all physics and debris.
I'd upgrade CPU first. You can lower video settings and have stable FPS with your current GPU (RX560?). Can't adjust game to get more FPS for CPU load.

If you fine with lag spikes and just want better graphics, get better GPU.
