Is 1.52v too much for my CPU ?

I have the Phenom II 965 C3 3.4Ghz, and lastnight decided to see just how much it would take to stabilize it in Prime 95 at 4Ghz.

@ 1.4875v its stable for almost everything, gaming etc

But for P95, I had to crank it up to 1.52v

My question is, how much damage is this doing to my CPU having that much juice running through it, will it shorten its life considerably or kill it quickly ?

My idle temps are around 35c and under full torture test load, my temps were 53c

I use the Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Cooler

Yes, lower that back. Even 1.4875V is very high, I wouldn't go past 1.45V.

    Also check your motherboard voltages.

well, either you risk blowing your CPU up or lower it lol.
